Megan Fox’s Tattoos

Megan Fox is a true believer that the body is a canvas and she has turned her own into a work of art (aside from the fact that she is smoking hot!).

I was curious and wanted to see just how many tattoos Megan Fox has, so I did a little searching and found her seven pieces of art to share with you all! Check them all out below.

“We will all laugh at gilded butterflies” is a quote from Shakespeare’s King Lear. When asked why Megan Fox tattooed this particular quote on her back, she simply replied saying “to not get too caught up in Hollywood because people will end up laughing at you.”

“There was once a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her HEART” is a quote from a poem that Megan wrote herself. This one has to be my favorite of all Megan Fox’s tattoos. From the placement on her ribcage to the typography, this tattoo serves as a masterpiece all on its own.

This portrait of Marilyn Monroe is Megan Fox’s most prominent tattoo. Placed on her forearm, Megan’s choice of ink caused quite the stir and a lot tabloid banter. But it seems as though Megan has either come to her senses to is tired of the criticism, because in her latest appearances this portrait of Norma Jean has faded considerably. It looks like Megan has decided to have it removed for good. Maybe she’s found a new idol?

Megan Fox Tattoo

This is one Megan Fox tattoo that is a bit more on the cliched side. The crescent moon and star on the inside of her ankle is definitely my least favorite of her body art and doesn’t seem to serve any meaningful purpose (at least none that she has spoken of yet).

Wanting to show her devotion to her then boyfriend and now husband Brian Austin Green, Megan Fox revealed this tattoo of his name in a 2005 photo shoot for FHM. The one question that comes to everyone’s minds here is, ‘what happens if you guys breakup?’ Megan says she would keep the tattoo because she could always name a child Brian. You just can’t argue with that kind of logic.

As a surfer girl at heart, Megan Fox wanted to show off her love for the seas through a tattoo. This tribal image on her wrist with two waves symbolizes her love for the ocean, but it didn’t quite turn out the way she had hoped. Apparently the tattoo artist didn’t do exactly what Megan had asked and she even considered having it removed. I guess she changed her mind because these waves can still be seen on her wrist.

On the back of her neck, Megan Fox has the Chinese character for ‘strength.’ A more personal tattoo that remains hidden most of the time, I assume this character serves as more of a personal reminder than a piece of art as many of her other tattoos do.
