Apparently, Elton John wants to include the whole world with his initiative. He did not give any previous notion that he is going to arrange such a concert. And he decided to go for the gig just before his annual Oscars viewing party. In a statement John acknowledged his gratitude to the city of West Hollywood for their cooperation and eagerness to hold such a remarkable event by the Elton John AIDS Foundation. He added that the city has been a partner in his foundation’s initiatives, so, he wanted to repay the inhabitants of that great city with a glittering concert. Thank you all for being supportive, added John.

On AOL.com it is mentioned that the singer is going to perform some of his most famous tracks like ‘Tiny Dancer’, ‘Candle In The Wind’, ‘Your Song’, ‘Crocodile Rock’, and ‘Rocket Man’, in addition to other songs. During an interview, he informed that he was mostly influenced by his husband David Furnish to arrange such a sudden concert. Furnish asked him to go for it reminding him of the vibrant and ever joyful musical environment of the great city.

Surprise performances are, however, nothing new for Elton John, who is now 68 years of age. Not so long ago, he mesmerized the commuters at a London train station with his piano composition.

Elton made sure that he is still in the world of music and he is not going to leave it soon. He admitted that he is still feeling wonderful about the way everything is going on.
